The Analog
The Analog strikes a fine balance between fish-like speed and shortboard precision. Designed with versatility in mind, it performs across a wide range of conditions — from playful hip-high surf to solid overhead waves. While not a true groveler, it’s a reliable daily driver that comes remarkably close to being a one-board quiver.
Drawing inspiration from the Bob Round Tail, the Analog features a narrowed outline and a straighter rocker profile through the center and tail, with a touch of extra lift up front. Deep, speed-generating concaves run through the midsection, peaking just ahead of the fins, before softening into a subtle double concave through the tail. The rail line retains generous curve through the back third, maintaining a lively and reactive feel when pushed on rail.
Refined through six months of testing and feedback from Coach Brown, the Analog evolved into a fast, responsive, and confident performer. It’s a board that does the work for you — easy to generate speed, yet highly controllable and dynamic in the pocket.
